HCS staff will also host and participate in several showcases and breakout sessions throughout the three-day conference.
HCS’ Bedrock Real Estate Services Portfolio is up for the Most Intelligent Office Portfolio award for the second consecutive year, as the project saw a major expansion following its 2014 win.
The Quicken Loans Data Center project is up for the Most Intelligent Specialty Building award, competing with Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco and Barcelona’s El Prat Airport.
HCS President and CEO Ted Houck has also been named a finalist for the Digital Impact Award.
“It’s a great privilege to have our organization involved in so many great projects, and to be among other worthy finalists is an unbelievable honor,” said Houck. “My nomination for the Digital Impact Award is truly a reflection on the top-notch work that everyone at Hepta puts in on a daily basis, and I’m incredibly proud to represent each and every one of them at this great conference.

The President and CEO will host a breakout session describing IP-centric buildings at 3:25 p.m. (CST) as part of today’s Pre-Con events. He will also take part in Wednesday’s Smart Building Showcase, along with Bedrock Real Estate Services’ Scott Collins.
Chief Information Officer Jason Houck will keep a busy schedule at the conference as well, as he is set to moderate a session covering Fault Detection Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. before taking part in a session on “Connecting Existing Disparate Systems” Wednesday at 2 p.m.
